Mini John Cooper Works Countryman has a new engine with 218 hp. British brand Mini, which belongs to a BMW will show the exhibition in Geneva “loaded” version of the crossover Countryman, further elaborated by the studio John Cooper Works. Besides bright and extravagant appearance, the car features a new engine with two turbines. The world premiere of the new Mini crossover marked the new direction that will work for the company, namely – a combination of athletic ability of John Cooper Works and the system for AWD ALL4.

Mini John Cooper Works Countryman has new 4-cylinder engine, with double turbo and direct injection of fuel. Motor output is 218 hp; its volume is 1.6 liters and maximum torque of 280 Nm. It is combined with 6-speed automatic transmission. Its acceleration is from 0 to 100 km / h in 7 seconds and top speed reaches 225 km / h. Combined fuel consumption is 7.2 l/100 km. In addition the machine has improved aerodynamics, lowered sports suspension, 18-inch wheels and special interior and exterior details. It should be available in autumn 2012. Another premiere of the Mini in Geneva was a completely new concept car, which according to its creators is directed to a whole new group of customers.
