Monaco is situated on the Cote d’Azur in the Mediterranean, on the slopes of the seaside Alps, and has a land border only with France.
In 1964 the principality increased its area by 20% (0.4 square miles), take away land from sea. No however Monaco remains the smallest country in the world, less of it is just the Vatican.

Monaco has four city merged with each other. (Monaco - capital, Monte Carlo, La Condamine and Fontenvil). The country’s most populous country in the world – 17 436 p/sq.km. Only a quarter of the population born in the country, most of them foreigners - wealthy businessmen, known personalities and others , attracted by low taxes. Monaco is a world center for tourism, banking and insurance.

Among the most important attractions in Monaco are the famous gambling houses in Monte Carlo, Oceanographic Museum – Research Center for the Study of World Ocean, which is the largest aquarium in the Mediterranean, underwater reserve larvae and others.

Monte Carlo F1 race track

Monte Carlo is the name of the most famous track in the world, which every year in May competition is being held “Grand Prix Monaco” . The race is extremely tense due to the proximity of concrete enclosures around the track. The F1 track in Monte Carlo is very extreme , both physically and psychically. In the end of the race some of the pilots lose about 5% by there weight. The track Monte Carlo is also known that the weather is changing very rapidly, and is most well-known racing accidents. The most famous  curves of the track are “hairpin” and “Tunnel“. Most of the hotels are booked half an year before the Grand prix of Monaco.
