2011 Carlsson CGL45
German tuner Carlsson revealed its CGL45, based on the Mercedes-Benz GL Grand Edition. On the eve of its premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Wide CGL45 comes with a slightly “inflated” fenders, new front spoiler, chrome grille and emblem instead of the standard stallion emblem of Mercedes. LED daytime running lights are integrated into the front spoiler, rear while a new rear apron with four tailpipes of the steel exhaust system.
Following the tuning of the 3-liter V6 diesel power jumped to 306 hp, while torque is 700 Nm. For comparison – standard talk on 261 hp and 620 Nm. In the flagship GL 500 V8, however the unit already has 430 hp and 600 Nm.
Intelligent suspension system allows the car to ride height reduced by 30mm. The wheels of Carlsson CGL45 are 22 inch and wrapped with performance tires in size 305/35Z R22.

The renovated interior of Carlsson CGL45 includes leather and Alcantara, complemented by wood, steel items, aluminum pedals, and a number of logos Carlsson.
